We’ve all been there — scrolling Amazon or Etsy at midnight, searching “Mermaid party kit” or “Moana decorations.” Everything ships fast, looks cute, and promises instant magic. But when the streamers come down and the confetti hits the trash, it all feels a little… wasteful.
And don’t get me started on those balloon kits from Amazon — the photos never match what shows up! 🎈

Celebrating with Reusable & Sustainable Party Décor
Our studio was built around a different idea: celebrations that are both beautiful and thoughtful. We believe décor should spark joy — not end up in a landfill. That’s why:
Our balloons are 100% biodegradable latex, not plastic.
We even reuse balloons, both latex and mylar, for in-studio parties.
We reuse our centerpieces, linens, trays, and signage across multiple events.
We choose neutral bases that can transform with color, texture, or theme instead of being one-and-done.
We recycle ink cartridges, batteries, paper, and aluminum cans (yes, I can often be seen sorting recycling!).
Items we can’t reuse get donated or thrifted so another family can enjoy them.
New Memories and Familiar Traditions
We understand the appeal of themed birthday banners — especially when they arrive right at your doorstep. But much like our kids’ interests, those themes don’t last year to year. So we end up tossing the banner or storing it in bins of party leftovers.
Many families have donated banners or other decorations to us after their events. If we can reuse them, we do! If not, we pass them along so another family can celebrate with them.
At Let’s Celebrate, we take that same spirit and reimagine banners so they can be reused again and again — while still feeling personal and fresh each time. It’s better for the planet and makes every event feel intentional and creative.
We even partnered with quilting genius House of Quilts to create hand-quilted birthday banners. We use them in the studio, and they’re also available for purchase. No more rushing to buy a new banner every year — instead, create a new family tradition you can look forward to.

Let's Talk Balloons
We get the appeal of those quick balloon kits — they look elaborate, ship fast, and feel easy. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve ordered mylar from Amazon too when I can’t find something through a vendor. But some of those balloons are plastic, dusted with white powder, or not biodegradable.
Call me a balloon snob, but we’re just conscious about what we use. In-studio balloons are often reused — I’ve had some mylar balloons last over four years! Latex balloons can last for months indoors.
Anything that leaves the studio is brand new, but always biodegradable. When we pop balloons, we cut up the pieces, strings, and necks to keep them from harming wildlife. We’ve also recently joined the TerraCycle Balloon Recycling Program to responsibly recycle balloon waste.
No Judgment, Just Joy
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with buying party kits or balloons — every family celebrates in their own way, and that’s what makes each birthday special. Some years it’s a backyard bash, some years it’s sleepover tents and crafts, and sometimes it’s both!
Our goal isn’t to tell you how to celebrate — it’s to make it easier and more magical. When you celebrate with us, you don’t have to store boxes of decorations or spend hours matching napkins to banners. We take care of the setup, décor, and activities so you can just show up, enjoy the laughter, and be part of the memories.
